With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Ann Ballantyne of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ballantyne and Beulah Ballantyne (Lingard); her grandparents, Alvin, Lorena Ballantyne, Walter and Nellie Lingard; her aunts and uncles, Dorothy Ballantyne, LaVerne Farnham, Marjorie Thomas, Jim, Bob Ballantyne and Elbert Thomas; and her cousins, Mark Ballantyne, Robert Farnham and Matt Thomas.
She is survived by: her brother Richard "Dick" (Bonnie Ballantyne); her niece Jennifer (Curtis Bartles); her great-nephews, Marcus and Joshua of Ankeny, Iowa; her nephews, Nathanial (Sarah Ballantyne) and Chadley (Laura Ballantyne); her great-nephew Walter of DeLand, Florida; her aunt Nadine Ballantyne of Independence, Missouri; and her uncle Dr. Milo Farnham of Independence. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
