He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ila Plasencia; his children, Danielle and Michael; his siblings, Paula, Lisa and Brian; his father Ralph Plasencia, Sr.; and his grandparents, Rufus, Nora Plasencia, Pablo and Pilar Rodriguez. He was also cherished by niece and a nephew, and several cousins.

Memorial contributions can be made to Midwest Education Development Fund, Inc., where a scholarship will be created in his name.
