It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline Stansill in West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Horton, Missouri, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph P. Houdeshell and Gladys F. Houdeshell (Henning); her former husband Marvin I. Powell; her husband John H. Stansill; and her siblings, Lloyd Houdeshell, Lee Houdeshell, Lillia Bogart, Bob Houdeshell, Viola Chancelor and Lenora McElwee.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Thompson (Kevin), Carla Anders (Ben) and Rodney Stansill; and her siblings, Dan R. "Junior" Houdeshell (Betty), Maudie Bogart, Mae Lamb, Ruby Castlebury-White, Pat Schwartz, Ellen Brooks (Mike), Dinah Smith (Charlie), Sarah Underwood (Ralph), Jimmie Houdeshell, Wanda Watts (Richard) and Raymond Houdeshell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested in her name to the American Cancer Society c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
