It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul E. Trauger (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Trauger and Verda Trauger (Sanford). He is survived by: his grandson Brandon; his son Brandon of Livermore; his sons-in-law, Jeff and Jeremy; his friend Jay Kvale; his wife Michele Trauger; his daughters, Micheline Oleson (Jeremy) of Runnells and Alicia Knight (Jeff) of Runnells; his grandchildren, Austin (Mackenzie Carroll), Carter Knight, Chandler and Gavin Oleson; and his siblings, Ron Trauger (Marlys) of Livermore, IA, Larry (Jane) of Algona, IA and Kathy Oppedahl (Kevin) of Norwalk, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iowa Veterans Cemetery or Lutheran Church of Hope.
