He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Palmersheim and Dolores Palmersheim (McGrane); his brother Francis Palmersheim; his nephew Jeffrey Palmersheim; and his niece Susan Breitbach.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Wynne Lunning; his children, Timmothy Palmersheim (Amanda) and Michele Knaack (Casey); his grandchildren, Emmylane Linh, Lillian Grace Palmersheim, Anthony Mathias and Mai Loan Knaack; his brothers, Robert Palmersheim (Karen), Kenneth Palmersheim (Penny) and Richard Palmersheim (Maru); his daughter Angela Conley (Wayne); his grandchildren, Reagan, Aaron and Grace Mitchell Peterson; and his great grandchild Brenton Marcum (Kayla). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM.
