He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Leon and Patricia Leon (Waggoner); his mother-in-law Ardella Moore; and his brother-in-law David Ashburn. He is survived by: his wife Robyn; his children, Lindsay Rains (Kevin) of Altoona, Jennifer Milius (Benjamin) and Nathan Leon (Riley Schwienebart) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Isaiah Rains of Altoona, Ezekiel Rains of Altoona and Hannah Rains of Altoona; his siblings, Nick Leon (Delia) of San Francisco, CA, Bernard Leon Jr. (Lynn) of Gilbert, AZ, Mary Leon of Ankeny, Julie Leon of Ankeny, Lynna Frost (Robert) of Chandler, AZ and Paul Leon (Angie) of Gilbert, AZ; his father-in-law Robert Moore of Carroll; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Mattes (Sylvan) of Carroll, Bobbi Ashburn of Grinnell, Renee Moore of Glidden, Kevin Moore of Arcadia and Cory Moore. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
