It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Sigler (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Burt, Iowa, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Arnold Sigler and Lillian Blumer (Manus) of Algona, Iowa.; his stepfather Ed Blumer; and his aunt Katherine Manus. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughter Julie Taylor (Dane); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Ally and Austin; his son Dave Sigler (Kelli); his grandsons, Daniel, Matthew and Jacob; his children, Brian Sigler and Kathy Wadle (Rob); and his grandchildren, Zadie and Kale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sig's honor to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in West Des Moines or to the Alzheimer's Association.
