It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Romeo McCoy (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmella McCoy (Romeo) and Leverett "Bud" McCoy; and his sister DeeDee Dalbey. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Blecher; his children, Kim Parker (Brad), Kelly Haag (Bob), Matt McCoy (Christy) and Mike (Lisa); and his siblings, Coy McCoy (Leverett), Deb McCoy and Cami Tierney. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mike's family is requesting that donations be sent in Mike's honor to The Italian American Cultural Center of Iowa, 1961 Indianola Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50315 or The American Cancer Society.
