He is survived by: his children, Stephen Stein (Pam), Laura Turbow (Jason) and Benjamin Stein; his sisters, Harriet Stein and Audrey Stein-Goldings; his grandchildren, Nola, Judah Stein, Mozi and Reuben Turbow; his nieces, Rachel Adler (David), Jessica Panikoff (Jonathan) and Rebecca Kasherginsky (Peter); and his wife Simma.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tifereth Israel Synagogue (924 Polk Blvd, Des Moines, IA 50312).
