We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2021, at the age of 99, Maxine Lucille Burden of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Snook and Mary Snook; her husband Robert Burden; her son Timothy Burden; and her siblings, Janet Deffenbaugh, Jeannie Kortkoff and Howard Snook.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Burden (Deborah), Gary Burden (Jane), Denise Olds (John) and Cheryl Knobbe (Joe); her grandchildren, Sean (Jessica), Jessica, Shelly (Chad), Katelyn (Kyle), Jacob and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Alex, Nicholas, Landon, Bailey, Charlie, Carter and Sawyer; and her brothers, James Snook and Robert Snook (Patricia).
Memorials in Maxine's memory may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or to the family on behalf of the staff at Pine Acres Care Center.
