We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2020, at the age of 87, Martha Frances Zugg of West Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Fisher and Rose Fisher (Vujnovich); her husband Raymond F. Callison (George Zugg); her son Mark Callison; and her siblings, Thomas Fisher, Mildred Woltz, Violet Leppa, Maryann Brumbaugh and Katie Palandri.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Callison (Susan) of Urbandale and Jim Callison (Kathy) of Des Moines; her brothers, George Fisher of Adel and David Fisher of Woodward; her stepson Geroge Zugg; and her grandchildren, Sean Callison (Emily), Jenny Callison (Matt Sinwell), Nikki Callison, Taja Hollimon, Alley Davis and Carly Callison. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

“MY DEAREST MARTY, TIME SEPARATED US IN THE LONG RUN WHEN GEO LEFT US, AND AS YEARS PASSED WE WOULD COME ACROSS EACH OTHER AT FAMILY REUNIONS. OURS BEING THE LAST WHEN BARBARA PASSED. THEN SUDDENLY IT WAS ROBERT, CINDY, PEGGY, JIM, EDGAR. IN A SMALL PERIOD OF TIME, I WANT YOU TO KNOW YOU WERE LOVED BY THE ZUGG FAMILY, FOR AWHILE THERE YOU WERE THE MATRIARCH.
