Marjorie B. Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie B. Thompson of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Birkenholz and Gertrude Birkenholz (Dykstra); her husband Richard "Dick" Thompson of Prairie City; her brother Dale; and her great grandchild Gabriel.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Thompson (Cecille) and Susan Curry (Robert); her grandchildren, Jennifer Meyer (Patrick), Megan Irwin (Rob) and Nathan Curry (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Bailey, Josie, William, Logan and Colter; and her sister Joyce Birkenholz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Prairie City Church of the Brethren, St. Croix Hospice or Bidwell Riverside Center.
