Marion Lee Gilliland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2022, at the age of 93, Marion Lee Gilliland (West Des Moines, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gilliland and Sylvia Gilliland (Frampton); his wife Anna Marie Tomes; his sister Audrey Smith Wilder (Bob); and his grandson Ben Olsem.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Brache (Alan), Karen Young and Donald Gilliland (Tracie); his grandchildren, Morgan Olsem, Michelle Vacco Huber, Alexandra Young Lancaster, Nichole Gilge, Crystal Feldman, Joe Gilliland, Adam Gilliland and Steven Gilliland; and his siblings, Dolores Oglesbee (Gerald), Darlene McKinney (Larry), Anna Marie Martin (Ramon) and Edward Gilliland (Mary). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
