With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion L. Thomas (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Saint Lucas, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Mitchell and Edna Mitchell; her husband Paul Thomas; her siblings, Margaret Mihm (Marinus), Delores Blong (Donald), Bernard Mitchell (Bonnie) and Alfred Mitchell (Elaine); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Fett (Wayne) of Iowa City and Paula Love (Gary) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Erin Pike (Evan), Courtney Johnson (Scott), Allison Davis (Ryan), Benjamin Love (Dakota Civita) and Stephanie Love; her great grandchildren, Tucker, Hudson, Ellery Pike, Landry and Crew Johnson; and her brother Donald Joseph Mitchell of Louisville, KY..
In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Church or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
