She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Kline and Marjorie Kline (Lindgren). She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Johnson; her children, Nicholas of Chandler, AZ and Rachel Vanderpool (Russell) of Indianola, IA; her grandchildren, Royce, RJ and Isabel; and her brothers, David Kline (Sharon) and Ronald Kline (Joanne). She is also survived by her family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, Marilyn's family has decided to limit attendance to family only at her memorial service.
