He was predeceased by: his parents, Leston Wilson, Sr. (Slim) and Johanna Wilson; his daughter Janice Lovell; his siblings, Wayne Wilson, Buster Davis and Shirley Sapp; and his nephew Darrell Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Midge; his sons, Les Wilson (Patty) and Steve Wilson (Pam); and his son-in-law Rich Lovell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
