He is survived by: his wife Rose Vittetoe; his children, Jon (Shirley), Dan (Kim), Sally Mattern (Ed), Kathy Bermel (Jodi) and Dave (Kristy); his grandchildren, Abby (Travis), Stephanie (Matt), Zachary (Jodi), Tyler (Kinzie), James (Corey), Anna (Jon), Maggie (Joe), Briley, Nicholas, Jayden, Sadie and Peyton; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Molly, Brooklyn and Logan; and his parents-in-law, Jerri Moeller, Virginia Weber and Edwin Vittetoe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
