He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Hensley and Ruth Hensley; his son Larry Hensley Jr.; and his siblings, Willis, Leonard, Donald, Fred, Chuck, Jerry Hensley, Lois Doke, Valdenia Faucett and Wilma Lair.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Jeffrey Hensley (Nicholle); his stepsons, Mark Dornbusch (Teresa) and Michael Dornbusch (Sheri); his daughter Kimberley Morton; and his sister Bessie Miller. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
