He was predeceased by: his parents, Tekoe Phillips and Gladys Phillips (Neir); his former wives, Leona Jerrel Phillips and Dorothy Walton Phillips; his son Kevin Phillips; his brother Lloyd Phillips; and his pet Fritzie.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Engelbrecht; his daughter Jacqueline Roberts (Sean); his siblings, Betty Jean Busching and Ray Phillips (Cindy); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Austin and Lauren Roberts; his stepsons, Michael Engelbrecht (Michelle) and William Engelbrecht; and his stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Madison Engelbrecht. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
