He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Piel and Margaret Piel (Warner); and his siblings, James Knapton and Lois Houser (Piel). He is survived by: his wife Rena Piel (Ayres); his children, Karen White (Jerry) and Gordon Piel (Susan); and his sister Barbara McNeel (Knapton). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many friends.
