Eakins Sr. (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Eakins and Doris Eakins (Dearinger); his granddaughter Carrie Russell; his children-in-law, Dan Murphy, Wayne Russell and Cheryl Eakins; and his siblings, Wayne Eakins Jr. and Carol Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; and his children, Cheryl Murphy, Keith Jr. (Cheryl Sander), Debra Spangler (Bryan), Rebecca Russell and Linda Russell (Anthony). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
