She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otto Schmidt and Ilena Schmidt (Adkins); her sons, Grant (Lorie), Scott (Sue), Jesse (Jen) and Robin (Arlene); her brother Otto William Schmidt, Jr; and her niece Patricia Marquest. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart or Toys for Tots.
