“Although I didn't know Joe well, being a neighbor across the pond, I'd often see him outside with his grandkids and loving every minute of it and I remember the time he went out in the rain to rescue the goose eggs from a nest that was being flooded and now his bird feeders he enjoyed maintaining. Of the few conversations we've had I know he was very proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be missed by many I'm sure. Susan Herr, neighbor”
