He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Donald and Jean Donald (Stewart); his stepmother Jenta Nason (Donald); his siblings, Tom Donald and Mary Geyer; his parents-in-law, Richard O. Schmidt and Jeanette Schmidt (Engelter); and his siblings-in-law, Janice Neal (Schmidt) and Donald Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Donald (Schmidt); his children, Andrea Maschka (Brian), Jeff Donald and Lindsay Kaven (Scott); his grandchildren, Creighton, Berkley, Drake Maschka, Wilder and Hayes Kaven; and his sister Ruth Cooper (Pete Ohorilko).
