He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Patricia Johnson (Hines); his brother Jim Johnson; and his former wife Mary Jane Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Johnson (Andrea), Jerry Johnson Jr. (Misty) of Bristol, TN, Jamey Lyman (Amanda) of Des Moines, IA and Therasa Schmitt (Tony) of Altoona, IA; and his siblings, Larry Johnson, Rick Johnson and Cathy Baenisch (John). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
