The memory of Jerry A. Barnett MD (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on July 20, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jerry leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Myrl Barnett and Sarah (Moline); and his grandson Brett Jarvis. He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Knutson); and his children, Muriel Jarvis (Gary), Colette, Jerry (Denise), Ron and Charles. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
