With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dale Maltby of West Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James Dale leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James Dale may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Maltby (Kelso) and Lauren Maltby; his wife Doris; and his siblings, Linda Gillies and Dickie.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Opie (Doug), Kent (Mary) and Craig (Jan). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
