He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hon and Zela Hon (Carnagey); his sisters, Edith Sweeney and Nancy Arthur; and his niece Jackie Burr.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hendrickson; his sister Phyllis Butters; his children, Sara, Patrick, Rachel (Eric), Nathan (Jessica) and Katie (Jeshua); and his grandchildren, Levi, Addison, Emma, Maverick, Coleen and Kezia.
Memorial contributions can be given to Jack's family for a bench at Camp Mitigwa or to Serve Africa to help orphans in Liberia.
