He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Irwin and Lucille Irwin (Schoen); his daughter Ashley Irwin Rogers; and his former wife Cindy Irwin. He is survived by: his wife Irina; his son Michael Irwin (Georgeann) of Waukee; his stepson Max Novak of Ames; his son-in-law Ben Rogers (Ashley); and his grandson Gunner Rogers of Indiana.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Iles Westover Chapel. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
