He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Donna (Baumgartner); and his siblings, Donald, Fred, Gary, Betty (MacDonald), Peggy (Simpson), Nancy (Auffet) and Patty (Voshell).
He is survived by: his wife Gerri; his sons, Dan and Terry (Mary); his grandchildren, David Hotchkiss (Jessica), Emily Petersen (JJ), Sarah Dowd (Danny) and Bethany Battles (Tanner); and his great grandchildren, Lydia Hotchkiss, Eliza Dowd, Zion Battles and Dietrich Petersen.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
