We bid farewell to Geraldine Koch of West Des Moines, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Geraldine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father William Andersen; her husband Charlie; her daughter Teri Ann; her mother Cecelia Zimmerman; her stepfather Hubert Zimmerman; and her brothers, Gerald Andersen and William Andersen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Koch (Karen) of Omaha, NE, Shirley Taylor (Rick) of Urbandale, IA, Sharon Roenfeld (Kirby) of Mineola, IA, Carol Weaver (Mark), West, Barbara Borts (Jeff), Julie Drees (Allan) and Geri Ann Farley (John) of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her brothers, LaVerne Andersen of Omaha, NE and Roger Zimmerman of Omaha, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Mary "Toots" Lampe (Leroy) of Omaha, NE and Walter Koch (Elaine) of Council Bluffs, IA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for memorials to Dowling Catholic High School and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
