Gerald Kinney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Kinney (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on February 19, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle L. Kinney and Edna M. Kinney; and his former wife Beverly. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his former wife Joyce; his siblings, Janet Van Cleave (Don) and Gene (Karen); his sons, Philip (Jennifer), Doug (Dajuan) and David; his stepson Michael (Echo); his grandchildren, Taylor, Benton, Colin Kinney and Erin Walker; and his great grandchildren, Cody and Caden Walker. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may include the Iowa Bandmasters Association, the Mingo United Methodist Church, or the Jerry Kinney Endowment Fund, Sacred Heart School.
