He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hodges and Margaret Hodges (Brady); his former wife Cassandra Hodges; his siblings, Bob Hodges, Jim Hodges, Denny Hodges, Judy Mendenhall, Sherry Hodges, Gene Hodges and Mike Hodges; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Thomas Jr., Gary Turner and John Massey.
He is survived by: his wife Cassandra "Candy" Thomas; his children, Tod Hodges (Abby) of Indianola and Jennifer Goodside (Shawn) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Tod Hodges, Jr., Brianna Bloomquist (Lucas), Jordan Graeve (Alex), Tyler Wimber, Kaylee Hodges, Billy Thompson, Aidan Hodges (Malinna) and Amelia Hodges; and his brother Ronald Hodges of Indianola. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
Memorial contributions may be made to the John Stoddard Cancer Center in memory of his wife, Candy.
