With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Thomas McLaughlin (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McLaughlin and Jane McLaughlin (Aller); his wife Connie (Connie); and his brothers, Charles, Vernon, Francis "Bud", Ray, Lewis and Marvin McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his children, Mark McLaughlin (Kathleen Mummert), Patrick McLaughlin and Michele McLaughlin Ruggieri; his grandchildren, Connor Ruggieri, Logan Ruggieri, Kaden Ruggieri, Eva Ruggieri, Luke McLaughlin, Sean McLaughlin and Marleen McLaughlin; and his sister-in-law Sandy McLaughlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater Iowa Chapter.
