He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Miller (Breheny) and Raymond Miller; his wife LoAnn; and his brothers, Robert and Raymond.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Gina) and Steve (Inara); his grandsons, Dustin, Raleigh (Kassie), Geoff (Meg) and Tyler (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Johnathon, Kaitlin, Lexi and London.
In lieu of flowers, the family has chosen the Animal Rescue League for memorials in loving memory of Gene Miller.
