Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Erwin John Aswegan (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 92, on July 19, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Elise (Polzin); and his siblings, Earl, Ruth and Gerhart.

He is survived by: his wife Malinda Brandt; his children, Michael (Beth) of Las Cruces, NM, Mary Catron (Craig) of Ankeny, James (Robbie) of Alleman and Jackie Horton (Tom) of Woodbine, GA; and his grandchildren, Kelly, Elise, Rebekah, Mandy, Sarah and Holly. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
