Elizabeth Loney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Loney of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Welch and Mildred Welch (Shelton) of Lucas County; her son Thomas Loney of Osceola; and her siblings, Margaret Orseth (Perry), William Welch, Donna Sellers (Tom) and Jack Welch.
She is survived by: her daughter Deanna Carson (Mike); her brothers, Ross "Bud" Welch (Sharon) of Chariton and Mike Welch of Williamson; her nephew Fred Loney (Sharon) of Chariton; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Welch and Marie Welch. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Until Covid hit, she frequented Lakeside Casino for socializing and the "free" buffet.
