He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Joseph R. McNerney; his brother Richard McNerney; and his nephew Timothy McNerney. He is survived by: his mother Ruth M. McNerney; his siblings, Mary Byrd, Joseph P. McNerney (Jane), David McNerney, Robert McNerney (Denise), Beth Thayer (Brad), Daniel McNerney (Lisa), Sarah McNerney, Bridget McNerney and Angela McNerney (Mike Magner); his cousin Matt McNerney; and his sister-in-law Judy Ritchey McNerney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great, nieces and nephews.
