It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dean Christiansen (West Des Moines, Iowa), born in Forest City, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Christiansen and Ruby Christiansen; his sister Judy Chambers; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Mildred Holcomb.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie; his wife Barbara Christiansen; his children, Angela Aldrich and Joe Christiansen of Grimes; his grandchildren, Sasha Festini, Brian Aldrich, Jocelann Christiansen, Annalise Christiansen and Aubriann Christiansen; his great grandchildren, Huxley Aldrich and Aaliyah Festini; and his siblings, Ronald Christiansen, Linda Lister and Mary Pavon. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
