He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Rich and Marian Rich; his wife Marilyn; and his sister Barbara Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Rich (Susan), Craig Rich (Nancy) and Diane Valdivia (Rod); his grandchildren, Emily Doglio (Tony), Megan Rich, Tyler Rich (Jennifer), Joseph Rich, Nicole Valdivia and Taylor Valdivia; his great grandchildren, Louisa Doglio and Nathaniel Doglio; and his brother-in-law William Hacker.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
