She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Maland and Garnet Burdick; and her siblings, Jack, Jerry Burdick and Joan Evans.
She is survived by: her significant other Bill Sapp; her brother Carroll Burdick (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ; her children, Dick Sapp (Michelle) of Waukee, Bob Sapp (Frances) of Urbandale and Jackie Turner (Greg) of Overland Park, KS; and her grandchildren, Alison Swaim (Dan), Liz Towe (Ryan), Brett Turner of Kansas City, KS, Amanda Turner Steffen (Nic) of Overland Park, KS, Andrew Turner of Overland Park, KS, Jared Sapp of Waukee and Ashley Sapp of Waukee. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spurgeon Manor and/or St. Croix Hospice Care.
