Calvin Evert Sinks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Evert Sinks of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen; his sons, Curtis Sinks and Michael Sinks; and his grandson Conner Evan Sinks (C. E. Sinks). He is survived by: his daughters, Shellie Scott of Houston, TX and Sue Godwin; his daughter-in-law Anne Edel Sinks of Denver, CO; his grandsons, Garrett Scott (Emily) of Kingwood, TX and Benjamin Godwin (Jamie) of Kuna, ID; and his great grandchildren, Austin and Ryan Godwin.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children (2025 East River Rd. Minneapolis, MN 55414).
