He was predeceased by: his father Howard Van Syoc. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn E. Van Syoc (Swagel); his brother Scott Van Syoc (Sheryl); his niece Jamie Van Syoc; his great-nephew Anton Van Syoc; his uncle Pat Knoer; and his aunt Katie Iverson.
