It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby D. Thompson of West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Thompson and Ruby Thompson (Madren); his great grandchild Matthew Sunberg; his siblings, Vern, Scotty Thompson, Darlene Chinberg and Pauline Seaton; and his siblings-in-law, Butch Parker, Virgil Seaton and Rhoda Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Thompson (Rose), Marla Sunberg (Terry) and Michele McDaniel (Beav); his grandchildren, Julie Schreurs (Rob), Lindsey Eason (Tyler), Nick Hoffman, Monica Lawson (Jake), Amanda Young, Missy Tena (Kyle), Levi McDaniel and Shelby McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Gwen, Nile, Alexander, Blaine, Gannon, Matty, Hailey, Garrett, Mia, Emma, George, Violet and Eleanor; his wife Madeline Thompson; and his sister Judy Parker. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
