Betty Marie Veenstra Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Marie Veenstra (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Marie Veenstra to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Parks and Jennie Parks; and her husband Ron Veenstra. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Jewett and Bill Parks (Caroyln); her children, William Hopkins, Melissa Hopkins-Norris, Beth Krehbiel (Steve) and Mike Veenstra (Marla); her grandchildren, Joshua, Corey (Stephanie), Bradi, Joel (Kelly), Ben, Amanda and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Madden, Maverick, Isabella, Christopher, Tyler, Kennedy and Rylea.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (7075 Ashworth Rd, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and Za-Ga-Zig Shriners.
