Betty Jean Bush Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Bush of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Barnard, Missouri, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Lucile Johnson; and her brother Jerald Dean Johnson. She is survived by: her brother William Wyatt Johnson; her husband Robert; her children, Greg (Char), Jeff (Patti) and Traci; her grandchildren, Brenna, Jake, Hanna, Lauren and Reagan; and her great grandchild Hayden.
She also volunteered with the Downtown Revitalization Committee, Red Cross and Maryville Library Foundation board. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Northwest Foundation supporting the Johnson-Bush Scholarship: Northwest Missouri State University Foundation, Johnson/Bush Scholarship, 800 University Dr., Maryville, MO 64468.
