He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia Rasmussen (Pat); and his children, Austin Rice Jr., Joe Rice (Kim) of Des Moines, IA and Susan Althoff (Steve) of St. Pete Beach. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
