She is survived by: her husband Roy Overton, II; her children, Dr. Roy Overton, III (Mary Jo), Rex Overton (Dwona), Dr. Patricia Overton-Keary, Theresa Petersen and Linda Filby (Jay); and her sisters, Soco, Angelica and Nelia. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
