She was predeceased by: her father Francis Vernon Wooddell; and her brother Wayne Wooddell. She is survived by: her mother Lottie Zaayer; her significant other Marvin VandeLune; and her children, Mary Ellen Briggs (Gordon) of Lenexa, KS, Mindy Wilcox (Greg) and Dr. Daniel VandeLune of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to West Des Moines United Methodist Church or The Salvation Army.
