It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendell D. Linder of West Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald LeRoy and Marjorie Louise Woline Linder; his wife Dorothy Ann Hoel; his sons, Matthew and Ross; his siblings, Donna Yoder (Bob) and Jerry Linder; his sister-in-law Doris Hoel Price; his niece Kristina Price; and his nephew Brett Hoel.
He is survived by: his son Ryan Linder (Wendy) of Tempe, Arizona; his granddaughter Annika Linder of North Liberty; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Smith and Troy Finney; his great grandchild Vinny Marcelino; his siblings-in-law, Brigitte Linder and Bill Hoel (Linda); and his nieces and nephews, Julie Yoder Messer, Cathy Yoder Ringer, Bonnie Linder, Chris, Mitch Hoel, Scott and Charles Price. He is also survived by good friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me account has been established for Animal Lifeline of Iowa or Animal Rescue League of Iowa; both no kill shelters.
